Jean Anne Morgan, 84, of Madisonville, Ky.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. – Jean Anne Morgan, 84, of Madisonville, Ky., passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville.

Morgan enjoyed movies, movie stars, jigsaw puzzles, and dogs.

She was born May 29, 1929 in Madisonville to the late James Robert Morgan and Thelma Elizabeth Morgan. Morgan enjoyed movies, movie stars, jigsaw puzzles, and dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Elizabeth "Betsy" Jerasonek.

She is survived by her nephew, David Golightly of Madisonville; her niece, Tandi Golightly (William) Dickerson of Madisonville; two great nieces, Elizabeth Stock of Chicago, Ill. and Sarah Schweitzer of Paducah, Ky.; one great-great niece, Lisa Stock of Chicago; and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Don McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David Golightly, William Dickerson, and Jacob Schweitzer.
