Michael Norman Cook, 66, of Charleston, Ky.

CHARLESTON, Ky. – Michael Norman Cook, 66, of Charleston, Ky., formerly of Hammond, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, Ky. Mr. Cook was born on January 26, 1948 in East Chicago, Ind. to the late Genevieve Martin Cook and Norman O. Cook. He was retired after working all of his adult working life with LaSalle Steel, Hammond, Ind. Mr. Cook was of Apostolic faith.

Mr. Cook is survived by his wife of 47 years Beverly Latham Cook of Charleston, Ky.; four sons, Kerry (Kelly) Cook of Hammond, Ind.; Ryan (Jessica) Cook of Charleston, Ky.; Michael (girlfriend Chelsea) Cook of Charleston, Ky., and Brandon (Christie) Cook, of Highland, Ind.; ten grandchildren, Kyle, Seth, Ashton, Maddox, Analicia, Milena, Rylan, Quinten, Marisa, and Karys; and additional family member, Christina of Cabot, Ark.

Preceding Mr. Cook in death are his parents, and a sister Carol Cook.

Visitation for Mr. Michael Norman Cook will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, Ky. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. followed by Funeral Services to be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, 2014 with Rev. Billy McCugh officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery, Nortonville, Ky.
