CROFTON, Ky. – Harvey Wendell Naylor, 78, of Crofton, passed away Thursday June 19, 2014 at his home. Born April 5, 1936 in Todd County to the late Melvin and the late Rosa Lee (Wilson) Naylor, Harvey served our military in the Navy and was a retired coal miner. He was also a proud member of the NRA, a Kentucky Colonel, and member of N.H. Shaw Masonic Lodge #608.

He is predeceased by his wife, Margaret Lee Naylor; brother, James Naylor; and sister, Pearl Lee Naylor.

He is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Cavanaugh of Nortonville and Pamela (Kevin) Howard of Earlington; two sons, Gerald (Lisa) Fowler of Crofton, and Norman (Sandy) Fowler of Nortonville; two sisters, Barbara Mason of Indiana, and Mary Tucker of Allegre; two brothers, Carl Wayne Naylor of Guthrie and Ellis Ray Heltsley of Hopkinsville; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at Bandy Funeral Home, Nortonville with Bro. Bobby Reno and Bro. Ronnie Sivells officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be Monday in Ridgetop Cemetery, Crofton.
