Doris (Jean) Creekmur, age 65, of Dawson Springs, KY

DAWSON SPRINGS, KY - Doris (Jean) Creekmur, age 65, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away at 9:57 A.M. on Thursday, November 3 , 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.

Mrs. Creekmur was born on May 3, 1946 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. She worked for many years in the Charleston School Cafeteria and was a member of Christ Corner Pentecostal Church in Henderson, KY.

Mrs. Creekmur is survived by her husband ~ William “Carrol” Creekmur of Charleston, KY; a son & daughter-in-law ~ Rev. Timothy & Julie Creekmur of Hanson, KY; a sister ~ Barbara Ann Creekmur of Dawson Springs, KY; Two grandchildren ~ Justin Carrol Creekmur & Cassandra Jean Darrow; Five great-grandchildren ~ Jackson Carrol Creekmur, Mackenzie Marie Creekmur, Zachary Clark Creekmur, Grayson David Darrow & Olivia Ann Darrow.

Preceding Mrs. Creekmur in death were her parents ~ William “Bill” & Lora Lee Calvert Brown; two brothers ~ James Russell Melton (departed 5/2/2011) & William Marion “Junior” Brown, Jr.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. Graveside services will be Sunday November 6, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Mitchell Ferguson officiating.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
