DUE TO HEAVY SNOWS IN WESTERN KENTUCKY...WIDESPREAD 6 TO 12 INCH SNOWFALL AMOUNTS HAVE HAULTED AREA TRAVEL. ISOLATED 15 INCH AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED. MADISONVILLE, KY - Rita Faye Dame, 69, of Madisonville, KY went home to be with the Lord at 9:04 P.M. Friday, November 4, 2011, at her son’s residence in Madisonville.

She was born June 7, 1942 Daniel Boone, KY to the late Elton and Gladys Franklin Morris; she was also preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Kay Martin.

Mrs. Dame was a member of the First Church of God in Madisonville, she worked as a Machinist for GE where she was a former Union President and was a Kentucky Colonel. She was loved and will be missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Dame is survived be two sons, Troy (Tina) Dame and Doug Dame both of Madisonville; one daughter, Janet L. Reasor of Madisonville; one sister, Paula Crick, of Madisonville; one brother, Buddy Morris of Morganfield, KY; eight grandchildren, Chase Dame, Tara Dame, Hannah Dame, Lee Allen Reasor, Erik Dame, Donovan Dame, Karolyn Wiles and Shelly Carney and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Robert White officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Lee Allen Reasor, Chase Dame, Donovan Dame, Erik Dame, Brad Morris and Chris Crick.
