HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Mary Hawkins, 78, of Hanson, KY passed away at 1:55 a.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY.

She was born on July 8, 1933 in St. Charles, KY to the late Cathleen Teague and Charles Glenn Trover. She was a homemaker and was a member of Zion Brick Church in Slaughters, KY.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hawkins; a daughter, Charrlote Ann Hawkins and a son, Thomas Hawkins.

She is survived by two sons, Glen (Elaine) Hawkins and James Hawkins all of Hanson; a sister, Lana Faye Trover of Hanson; a brother, Bobby Trover of Madisonville; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Lake Grove Cemetery in St. Charles, KY. with Bro. Jeff Vaught officiating. Burial to follow.

There will be no visitation. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
