NORTONVILLE, KY - Hubert (Skinner) Groves, 73, of Nortonville went to join the Lord on Sunday November 6 at his residence.

Along with being a member of Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church, a former coal miner, and a farmer; Hubert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
 
He was preceeded in death by his parents Albert and Virginia Groves; two brothers: James and Norvel Groves, and one sister: Fannie Mae Kubach. He is survived by his: wife, Lillie Groves; three daughters: Margie (Johnny) Mclemore, Donna (Tim) Crick, Lesia (Greg) Sutton; six grandchildren: Brandi, John, Justin, Lucas, Jeff, and Dylan; and three great-grandchildren: Syndey, Brylee, and Halle.
 
Bandy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation and services will be held at Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church in Nortonville. Visitation is Tuesday 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. till service time at 11 a.m. with Bro. Jonh Culbertson officiating.
