Niles Ray Winebarger, 79, of Manitou, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY -Niles Ray Winebarger, 79, of Manitou, KY passed away at 4:55 a.m. on Sunday, November, 13, 2011 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY.

He was born on May 19, 1932 in Dixon, KY to the late Ruby and Marvel Lee Winebarger. He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was formerly a press operator for Birmingham Bolt. He was a member of Miracle Temple Church of God in Madisonville.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Lester Winebarger and Garrett Dale Winebarger.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Norma Sue Winebarger; three daughters, Judy (Roger) Jarvis of Hanson, KY, Mary Winebarger of Manitou and Nancy Frazier of Madisonville; a brother, Carl Wade Winebarger of Manitou; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jim Leek and Bro. James Tyra officiating. Military services will be conducted graveside by 101st Airborne Division Ft. Campbell and the Hopkins County Honor Guard. Burial will be in Rosecreek Cemetery in Coiltown, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Winfred Duncan, Ronnie Knight, Josh McHutchinson, Austin McHutchinson, Brad Porter and LeRoy Rickard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Rickard and Roger Jarvis.
