Willow Dean Porter, 75 of Madisonville

obit5HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Willow Dean Porter, 75 of Madisonville, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville.

She was born February 29, 1936 in Webster, Co., KY to the late Raymond Jones and Laurie B. Laughary Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Franklin Porter; one sister, Imogene Wagoner and one brother, Kenneth Ray Jones.

She was a member of the Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Madisonville.

Mrs. Porter was survived by one daughter, Teresa Crafton of Union City, TN; future son-in-law Jeff Roberson; one son, Carroll Franklin Porter of Madisonville; four sisters, Ella Mae Dillinger of Norris City, IL; Linda Matlock of Evansville, IN; Paula Matheny of Madisonville and Lisa Abbott of Madisonville; three brothers, Morton Jones of Providence, KY; Glendel Jones of Providence and Gary Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; three grandchildren, Maria Beckham of Herndon, KY; Rachel Crafton of Sterling Heights, MI and Lauren Ramos of Clarksville, TN and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville with Bro. Charles DeMoss officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the Barnett-Strother Funeral home.
