Mary Louise Hawkins, 95, of Madisonville, KY

 

obit16HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Mary Louise Hawkins, 95, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 8:55 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born on August 14, 1916 in Slaughters, KY to the late Roy Harmon and Mary Walker Harmon. She was a homemaker and had previously worked at Western Kentucky Hospital Services and Twin Lakes Motel. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Tommy Hawkins, Sr.; her daughter, Mary Lee Hawkins; her grandson, Chris Hawkins; two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Parker of Madisonville; two sons, Tommy Hawkins, Jr. of Seymour, IN and Kenneth Hawkins of Madisonville; three grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2011 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Gene Rickard officiating. Burial will be in Zion Brick Church Cemetery in Slaughters, KY.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.
