MADISONVILLE, KY - Jessie Freeman Adams, 80, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011, at the Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson. He was born June 2, 1931 in Hopkins County to the late Hazel Freeman Adams and Gladysdean Cobb Adams.
Mr. Adams was a member of First Methodist Church and a graduate of Madisonville High School and Western Kentucky University.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Adams of Madisonville; two daughters, Sandra (Paul) Jackson of Lexington, KY and Kristen (Joey) Simms of Evansville, IN; one son, Mark Adams of Missouri; two step daughters, Martha (Bruce) Jones of Madisonville and Suzette (Mike) Prince of Plano, TX; one step-son Charles (Janet) Price of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren, Corbet and Nicholas Jackson of Lexington, Travis Zaro of Evansville, and Victoria Adams of Missouri; six step-grandchildren; Brian Jones, Matthew Jones, Michael Prince, Sarah Atwood, Charles Price, and Amy Cline; two great grandchildren, Charlotte and Wyatt Jackson; and three step-great grandchildren, Easton Cline, Hannah Atwood, and Elle Atwood.
A graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 23, at Odd Fellows Cemetery with Bro. Sam Beeny officiating. Entombment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
