Imogene Thomas, age 90, of Dawson Springs, KY

butterflyDAWSON SPRINGS, KY -Imogene Thomas, age 90, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away at 3:30 P.M. on Tuesday, November 22 , 2011 at Tradewater Health & Rehabilitation Center of Dawson Springs.

Ms. Thomas was born on January 21, 1921 in Caldwell County, Kentucky. She worked for 20 years with Thomas Industries and she was a beloved mother and homemaker. She was of Christian faith.

 

Ms. Thomas is survived by her three daughters ~ Donna Faye (Phillip) Parker, Dianna Kaye Coates, and Kelly (Ernest) Akin all of Dawson Springs, KY; additionally, she is survived by one brother ~ Eugene “Jim” Jones of Evansville, IN. Ms. Thomas is blessed to have nine surviving grandchildren and nine surviving great grandchildren. Her grandchildren include ~ Stephanie Lynn Biddle, Steven (Shannon) Parker, Melissa Kaye Parker, Greg (Melinda) Coates, John (Theresa) Coates, Jolie (Sam) Simpkins, Alex Phebus, Maxx Phebus, and Ty Wayne Akin.

Preceding Ms. Thomas in death were her parents ~ Charlie and Hester Egbert Jones, and her husband~ Guy David Thomas, and twelve brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2011 from 10:00A.M. - 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. Funeral Services will be conducted by Jenny Sewell at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 25, 2011at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her family members.
