DAWSON SPRINGS, KY - Betty Jean Langley, 81 of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away at 3:15A.M. on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.

Mrs. Langley was born July 21, 1930 in Mountain View, Missouri. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Dawson Springs, KY.

Mrs. Langley is survived by her husband of 56 years ~ Rev. Harley Langley of Dawson Springs, KY; two daughters ~ Linda Langley of Dawson Springs, KY & Sharon (Walter) Scheks of Uniontown, OH; Two Sons ~ Tom Langley of Dawson Springs, KY & Don(Doreen) Langley of Mt. Washington, KY; Two Sisters ~ Joyce Lee Hull of Dawson Springs, KY & Barbara Jane Koger of Novinger, MO; Three Brothers ~ James (Sonny) Yarber & Edward Yarber of Birch Tree, MO & Norman Yarber of Mountain View, MO; Three grandchildren ~ Joshua Karl Langley, Michael Andreas Scheks & Lauren Michelle Scheks.

Preceding Mrs. Langley in death were her parents ~ Howard Andrew & Rose Marie Hansford Yarber; one brother ~ Jerry Yarber.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Friday, December 2, 2011 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Gospel Assembly Church in Dawson Springs, KY. Service will be conducted on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Gospel Assembly Church with Rev. Clyde Sharber officiating. There will also be a visitation on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Yarber Mortuary in Mountain View, MO from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. A committal service will be held at 3:00 P.M. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mountain View, MO.

Pallbearers will be: Tom Langley, Walter Scheks, Michael Andreas Scheks, Don Langley, Joshua Langley & Encil Huddleston.
