Doug England, 69, of Nortonville, KY

sunrise1HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Jefferson Augustus Douglas England, 69, of Nortonville went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 while residing at NHC Nursing Home in Madisonville.  He was born Nov. 16, 1942 in Muhlenberg Co. to the late Lottie Mae Whitfield and Charles Jefferson England.  He was a mechanic and a logger for many years.
 
Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by two infant sisters Phyllis Elaine and Faye Addeline England; one brother, Raymond England, Sr., and one infant daughter, Kathy Yvonne England.  
 
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Bonick England; sons, Doug (Cathy) Bonick of Plainfield, IL and Bobby (Tammy) England of Madisonville; daughters, Lisa Overfield of Calhoun, GA, Barbara (Victor) McQueen of Morganton, NC, and Theresa (Harry) Crick of Nortonville; sister, Charlene Kemble of Nortonville; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Visitation will be from 5-8PM Saturday and 10AM till service time Sunday at the funeral home. 

Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:30PM at Bandy Funeral Home, Nortonville with Bro. John Massey officiating. Interment will be in Whitfield Cemetery, White Plains.
