MADISONVILLE, KY - Minnie Lee Baker, 89, Madisonville, formerly of Sturgis, passed away at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville where she served faithfully as a Sunday school superintendent and teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Baker; her parents, Charles Williams Sr. and Lillian O' Bryant Williams; and one daughter, Joyce Elaine Baker.
Survivors include one daughter, Robbie Darnelle Baker of Madisonville; one son, William Lee Baker of Dawson Springs, Ky.; one brother, David Williams of Indianapolis; one sister, Geneva Chester of Evansville; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will be at 1: p.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville. The Rev. Robert L. Cottoner will officiate.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Elliott Mortuary in Madisonville is charge of the arrangements.
