John Edward (Eddie) Thorp, 52, Henderson

 

obit-sunrisetreeHENDERSON, KY - John Edward (Eddie) Thorp, 52, Henderson, formerly of Ilsley, Ky., passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Lucy Smith King Care Center.

He was a truck driver and was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willard O'Neil Thorp.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Wolfe; one daughter, Candace Hill of Bowling Green; his mother, Pearl Imogene Foe Thorp of Ilsley; one sister, Connie Sue Barnett of Madisonville; three brothers, Ron Thorp of Henderson and David Lee Thorp and Timothy O'Neil Thorp, both of Ilsley; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Beshear Funeral HomeJohn Edward (Eddie) Thorp, 52, Henderson in Dawson Springs. The Rev. Robert Akers will officiate. Burial will be in Ilsley Cemetery in Ilsley.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mike Lowell, David Lee Thorp, Eric Barnett, Ron Thorp, Timothy Thorp and David Scott Thorp.
