Betty Faye Browning, 71 of Crofton, KY

bettyCrofton, KY - Betty Faye Browning, 71 of Crofton, KY died Wednesday,  December 7th, 2011 at 8:49 p.m. at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY after a sudden illness.  Betty was born March 11th, 1940 in Muhlenberg County the daughter of Elmer Mayes and Maudie Mayes.  She was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Madisonville, KY and she was a homemaker and housewife.  She  was preceded in death by her parents, husband  Harvey D. Browning, Son Johnny D. Browning, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her son Eddie Browning of White Plains, KY; daughters Nancy Woodruff of White Plains, KY & Tana (Raymond) Lance of Crofton, KY; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers Thomas  Mayes of Madisonville, KY & Roy Mayes of Madisonville, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 10th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY by Major Joyce Lance with burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery in Greenville, KY.

Friends may call Saturday, December 10th, 2011 after 10:00 a.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, Ky.  Online condolences to the family can be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net.
