James H. Claspy, 77, of Madisonville, KY

claspy jimHOPKINS COUNTY, KY -James H. Claspy, 77, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. He was born December 8, 1934 in Monaca, PA to the late Hubert James Claspy and Hilda Duggan Claspy.

Mr. Claspy was the Director of Plant Operations at Regional Medical Center and later worked at the Post Office. He was also a graduate of Penn State University.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda; two daughters, Cindi Hatcher of Madisonville and Stelle Delarosa of California; two sons, Rick Claspy of Valencia, CA and Mitch Claspy in Venice, CA; two sisters, Fran Crawford of Yuba City, CA and Judy Carlson of Bellevue, CA; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Don Davis officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.

Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. until the service hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
