Grace Traylor, 96, of Dalton, KY

 

taylor graceHOPKINS COUNTY, KY- Grace Traylor, 96, of Dalton, KY passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2011 at her home.

She was born on June 23, 1915 to the late David Andrew Traylor and Sarah Ellen Williams Traylor. She was a retired Deputy Hopkins County Court Clerk. She was a member of the Macedonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dalton and had been a member of the Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her three nieces, Louise Bay of Princeton, KY, Wanda Williams of Madisonville, KY and Shirley Selep of IL; a nephew, Donald Rollins of Sharon, TN; a sister, Rubye Slaton of Madisonville; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Dennis Mayfield officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Macedonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
