Ollie B. Rickard, 83, of Madisonville, KY

 

ollie rickardMADISONVILLE, KY - Ollie B. Rickard, 83, of Madisonville, KY, passed away at Saturday December 24, 2011 at her residence.

She was born November 17, 1928 in Evans, LA, the daughter of the late David A. Craft and Sarah A. Harvey Craft.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Rickard, and one daughter, Patricia Rickard Saez.

Mrs. Rickard was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Madisonville. She made her living as a homemaker, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and working in her church.

She was survived by her daughter, Linda (Tommy) Rickard Smith of Madisonville; three grandsons, Ron (Ruthie) Fairbanks of Raeford, NC, David (Angie) Stephens of Hopkinsville, KY, and Jerry Stephens of Madisonville; two granddaughters, Karen (Scott) Fairbanks Leary of Greensboro, NC, and Michele Saez of Hopkinsville; three great grandchildren, Heather Leary and Brittany Leary of Greensboro, and Raymond Stephens of Hopkinsville; two great-great grandchildren, Shytricia Saez and Ty Saez; one brother Lee Craft of LaBell, FL; and one sister, Jeri Bass, of Monroe, LA.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Anderson officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Mausoleum in Madisonville.

Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 and from 11:00 A.M. until the service time Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Park Avenue Baptist Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
