Donna Cummings Hardesty, 57, of Madisonville

 

1doveMADISONVILLE, KY - Donna Cummings Hardesty, 57, of Madisonville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at her home.

She was born in Ohio County and worked at Trover Health System for 18 years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Madisonville and was a Kentucky Colonel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Cummings and Margaret Free Cummings.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Hardesty of Madisonville; a stepdaughter, Kristy Statts of Owensboro; grandchildren Kisten and Konnor Statts of Owensboro; a sister, Deborah Decker of Fordsville; a niece, Deidre Johnson and husband, Scott Johnson, of Beechmont; great-nephew Camerson Johnson; and great-niece Morgan Johnson, both of Beechmont.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pattiville. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Green River Hospice.
