Richard Tucker, Sr., 67, of Bowling Green, KY

 

trucker richardMADISONVILLE, KY - Richard Tucker, Sr., 67, of Bowling Green, KY passed away at 6:40 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.

He was born on April 25, 1944 in Nebo, KY to the late Raymond Tucker and Nell Nichols Tucker. He was a welder for a ship fitter in Mayport, FL. He was a member of Nebo Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Lane Tucker.

He is survived by his former wife, Joyce Crowe-Tucker of Madisonville, KY; his daughter, Rebecca (Jeff) Boyer of Newburgh, IN; his son, Richard E. (Jaime) Tucker, II of Madisonville; his step-daughter, Jenny Houchins of Naples, FL; his brother, Larry Tucker of Bowling Green, KY; four grandchildren, Jared Ray, Jordan Ray, Gabbrielle Tucker and Richard E. Tucker III.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December, 29, 2011 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Pat Dew officiating and Pastor Michael Knight assisting. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Boyer, Michael Ray, Alex Martin, David Martin, Chris Winstead and Donald Nielsen.
