Wallace Basham, age 74, of Madisonville, KY

basham obitMADISONVILLE, KY - Wallace Harold Basham, 74, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. He was born October 14, 1937 in McLean Co. KY, to the late Wiley Basham and Ruby Henderson Basham. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Randall Basham; a daughter-in-law, Vickie Basham and one sister-in-law, Kathy.

He was survived by his wife, Billie Jo (Moore) Basham of Madisonville; two sons, David and Danny Basham both of Madisonville; three brothers, Billy (Linda) Basham of Hanson; Roy (Martha) Basham of Nortonville; Jimmie Basham and; four grandchildren; Danny (Kali) Basham, Jr. of Madisonville; Dylan Basham of Madisonville and Jenny (Brian) Hunter of Sebree and Caleb Adams of Madisonville; four great grandchildren; Brooklyn Basham of Madisonville; Kaile Branson of Sebree; Colton Hunter of Sebree and Dalton Hunter of Sebree and one brother-in-law, Paul Moore of Madisonville.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 6, 2012, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday and after 9:00 A.M. until the service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Danny Basham, Jr., Dylan Basham, Brad England, Roy Hibbs, Clayton Miller and Alan Giffin. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Carter and Harold Hibbs.
