Melodie Ann Owens, 61, of Providence, KY

PROVIDENCE, KY - Melodie Ann Owens, 61, of Providence, KY passed away at 9:30 A.M. Friday January 13th, 2012 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born in Providence to the late James Thomas Sansom and Wilma Grace Hill Sansom.

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Providence and also worked as a floral designer.

She is survived by her companions, Jeffrey Raymond Conner and her Baby Arnold of Providence, one daughter, Crystal (Rob.) Lilly of Deltona, FL; three sisters, Valerie Gayle Burklow of Madisonville, KY, Deborah Lynn (Dale) Denton of Providence, and Jana Kaye (Tim) Brister of Hanson, KY.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Monday January 16th at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, with Brother Ralph Alexander officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. on Monday.
