Kenneth Edwin Turner, age 72, of Symsonia, KY

BENTON, KY - Kenneth Edwin Turner, age 72, of Symsonia, KY, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012, at Lakeway Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY. Mr. Turner was a self employed brick layer and farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents William Riley Turner and Ollie Jewel (Holley) Turner.

He is survived by one brother: Keith Turner of Symsonia, KY; two nieces Shayla Hamby and husband David of Benton, KY and Keitha Lyle of Symsonia, KY; one great niece: Amanda Stone and husband Robert of El Paso, TX; two great nephews: Matt Lyle of Paducah, KY and Nathan Stamps and wife Jerrica of Grand Rivers, KY; one great great nephew: Caiden Stamps of Grand Rivers, KY; and one step great-great nephew; Carter Goin of Grand Rivers, KY.

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 5, 2012. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 6, 2012, with Rev. Mike Littrell officiating. Interment will be at Fairdealing Cemetery, Benton, KY.

The family ask memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater KY and Southern Indiana Chapter, Kaden Tower, 6100 Dutchmans Ln Ste 401, Louisville, KY 40205.
