Arthur Luther Gentry, 85, of Murray

 

MURRAY, KY - Arthur Luther Gentry, 85, of Murray passed away  February 6, 2012 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Born September 6, 1926 in Glenarm, IL, Mr. Gentry was a member of the Fairdealing Church of Christ.

Mr. Gentry is preceded in death by his parents, Myril and Leah Bobbitt Gentry; four sons, Stanley, James, Harold and Arthur Gentry; a daughter, Mary Gentry; a brother, Myril Gentry Jr.; five sisters, Lillian Gentry, Thelma Gentry, Mary Evelyn Gentry, Marie Gentry and Emma Bryan.

Survivors include a son, Author Gentry of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Paula Jean Coffey of Biloxi, MS and Linda McGuire of Virden, IL; three sisters, Frances McCowan of Surprise, AZ, Wilma Jean Lambert of Divemon, IL, and Leah Brown of Nokomis, IL; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Arrangements are incomplete at Imes-Miller Funeral Home.
