Carolyn Stroube Mosley, 79, of Cerulean, KY

TRIGG COUNTY, KY - Carolyn Stroube Mosley, 79, of Cerulean, KY passed away there at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 of natural causes following a brief illness.

A native of Christian County born September 27, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Augustas and Eleanor Lunette Henry Stroube and had been a homemaker. She was a member of Sinking Fork Christian Church and had been a 4-H leader for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, R. Douglas Mosley, two sons; Douglas Wayne Mosley of Paducah, KY and Jerry Dale Mosley of Christian County, two daughters; Nancy Carol Davis of Hopkinsville and Patricia Lynn Leek of Christian County, eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Gary Satterfield with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Billy Mosley, George Gresham, Jerry Gresham, Mark Beardsley, Bobby Allen, Robert “Chip” Stroube, Patrick Leek and Joe Leek. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Gideons International or to Pennyroyal Hospice.
