Harvey Thomas Culp, age 84, of Benton, KY

BENTON, KY - Harvey Thomas Culp, age 84, of Benton, KY, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY. He was a member of Briensburg Missionary Baptist Church, KY Baptist Disaster relief team, Baptist Builders Association, Retired member of Palma-Briensburg Fire Dept. Board of Directors, retired as Maintenance Foreman for Airco Carbide in Calvert City, and was a Kentucky Colonel

He was the son of the late Floyd and Arlene Fieldson Culp

He is survived by his wife of 63 Years: Nancy Ross Culp of Benton; One Daughter: Elizabeth Ann Cunningham, Benton, KY; Two Sons: Richard Culp, Benton, KY, David Culp, Benton, KY; Three Sisters: Carolyn Sturgis, Paducah, KY, Sue Wynn, Benton, KY, and Pat Defew, Benton, KY; One Brother: Charles Culp, Joliet, IL, Five grandchildren and Six great grandchildren.

Mr. Culp was also preceded in death by one brother: Bobby Culp and one sister: Katherine Dowdy

Funeral service will be at Briensburg Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 29, 2012, Rev. Calvin Wilkins and Rev. Brad Walker officiating. Interment will be at Provine Cemetery, Benton, KY. Firends may visit with the family on Sunday after 4 pm at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY and on Monday from 10 am to 11 am at Briensburg Missionary Baptist Church.
