Lois Roseland Blackburn, age 79

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Lois Roseland Blackburn, age 79, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. She was born in Caldwell County, KY on April 2, 1933 to the late Charlie & Lois Kingery Hooper. She was a mother and homemaker and worked in the Dawson Springs School Cafeteria.

She is survived by two daughters ~Mary Hayden of Dawson Springs, KY & Judy Krantz of Madisonville, KY; a son ~ Danny Jo Hester of West Virginia; five grandchildren & ten great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ J.L. Hester; her twin brother ~ James R. Hooper; brothers ~Fred Hooper, Dennis Hooper & Ed Hooper.

Visitation for Mrs. Lois Roseland Blackburn will be Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Darrell Gates will conduct the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Hayden, Chris Laureano, Shane Kenady, Travis Lussier, Jason Laureano & Bill Dunbar.
