CADIZ, KY - Douglas Freeman, 85, of Cadiz, KY passed away on Sunday morning at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
He was a Farmer, US Army Veteran, member of the New Hope Baptist Church, a former member of the Young & Adult Farmers Organization and the NFO, National Farmers Organization; Long time participant in the Trigg Co. Country Ham Festival.
Survivors: 2 Sons & Daughters-In-Law: Randy & Carolyn Freeman, Cadiz, KY; Donnie & Becky Freeman, Cadiz, KY; Daughter & Son-In-Law: Shirley & Mike Futrell, Cadiz, KY; Brother & Sister-In-Law: Ewing & Bonnie Freeman, Cadiz, KY; Sister: Geneva Wilson, Cadiz, KY; Sister-In-Law: Thelma Freeman, Cadiz, KY 6 Grandchildren: Steven & Victoria Freeman, Bowling Green, KY; Bethanie & Brian Curtis, Cadiz, KY; Deanna & Belden Parry, Bowling Green, KY; Andrew & Jessica Freeman, Bowling Green, KY; Jordan Futrell, Cadiz, KY; Katelyn Futrell, Cadiz, KY; 7 Great Grandchildren; Julia, Caroline, Ava & Samuel Freeman, Bowling Green, KY; Jackson & Natalee Parry, Bowling Green, KY; Peyton Curtis, Cadiz, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Samuel Thomas Freeman & Ora Pearl Armstrong Freeman; wife; Euneda Dixon Freeman; brother; Charles Freeman.
Funeral Services for 85 year old Douglas Freeman of Cadiz will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at King’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.
