Ann McAtee, age 90, of Cadiz, KY

CADIZ, KY - Ann McAtee, age 90, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, KY.

Ann McAtee was a member of Cadiz United Methodist Church. She retired as payroll clerk from Papermate Pen Co. in Chicago, IL. She was a member of Wallonia Homemakers Club, Trigg Co. Historical Society where she had served as Treasurer, She was a volunteer at John L. Street Library for almost 30 years.

She is survived by her Brother Robert McAtee, Cadiz, KY, Sister in Law Freda McAtee, Cadiz, KY, Brother In Law Jack Clawson, Princeton, KY, Nephews Wayne McAtee, Jimmy McAtee, Jimmy Clawson, Rob Clawson, Nieces Janice Bush, Carolyn Stevenson, Teresa Woodall, Paula Maddox, Mary Jane Stewart, Jo Alyce Harper. She was preceded in death by her Parents Clarence & Janie Malone McAtee, Brothers William C. McAtee & Frank McAtee, Sisters Jane Clawson, Elizabeth McAtee & Mary Alice McAtee.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 19, 2012.

Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 20, 2012 with the Dr. HIlda Bentley & Reverend Steve Spitzer officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, KY.

Memorial Contributions can be made to John L. Street Library 244 Main Street, Cadiz, KY 42211 or to Cadiz United Methodist Church Building Fund, 482 Lakota Drive, Cadiz, KY 42211.
