Robert Lee Minor, 80, of Eddyville, KY

PRINCETON, Ky. - Robert Lee Minor, 80, of Eddyville, KY formerly of Joliet, IL, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 in Princeton Health & Rehab Center in Princeton, KY.

Mr. Minor was retired from Sears in Oakbrook, IL as hardware manager with 30 years' service. He was former manager of Pro-Car Wash in Eddyville, a member of American Legion Post #68, an Army Korean war veteran and attended Eddyville United Methodist Church in Eddyville.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nancy Long Minor; two daughters, Linda Johnson and her husband, Scott, of St. Paul, MN and Sandra Minor of Bellevue, WA; three grandchildren, Patrick (April) Minor Jr of McKenzie, TN, Amy Foran of Morros, IL and Heather Daugherty and her husband, Brian) of Camden, TN; ten great grandchildren, Brittney, Brianna, Brooke and a step-grandson, Zayden, Teigan, Gavin, Zaydan, Magnus, Hunter and Nicole; one brother, Dale (Nancy) Minor of Edmond, OK; three sisters, Wilma (Donald)Adams of Eddyville, KY, Rosalie (Dale) Miller of Lima, OH and Brenda (Jeff) Snider of OH; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Patrick Minor Sr; two sisters, Norma Jean Sheets and Betty Ankrom; four brothers, Charles, Donald, Kenneth and Pete Minor. His parents were Curtis Reid Minor
and Alberta Castilow Minor.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with Rev. Jack Larwa officiating.

Burial will be 12:00 P.M., Monday, March 4, 2013 in KY Veteran's Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with graveside military honors.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday, March 3, 2012 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville.
