CADIZ, Ky. - Walter B. Futrell, 90 of Cadiz, KY passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN.

Survivors: 2 Sons & Daughters-In-Law: Ricky & Shirley Futrell, Murray, KY; Sean & Carla Futrell, Cadiz, KY; 3 Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Deborah Bland, MI; Kathleen & John Haley, Borden, IN; Dallas Edwards, Sydney, Australia; 2 Brothers & Sisters-In-Law: John & Ora Mae Futrell, FL; William Futrell, Jr. & Mildred, Cadiz, KY; 2 Sisters: Nellie Futrell Hutchison Chilton, Hopkinsville, KY; Thelma Futrell Freeman, Cadiz, KY; 13 Grandchildren: Angela Narramore, Idaho; Kelly Bland, OH; Harmony Bland, CO; Jesse Bland, OH; Ashley & Stephen Coles, Mayfield, KY; Ricky & Samantha Futrell, Murray, KY; Millie Futrell, Griffin Futrell & Maddie Futrell, all of Cadiz, KY; Danielle Edwards, Sydney, Australia; Jeffery Mohler, Cadiz, KY; Josh & Joey Mohler, Murray, KY. 6 Great Grandchildren: Landen Kaminski, OH; Jackson & Jordan Coles, Mayfield, KY; Bryce Harmon & Gauge Futrell, Murray, KY; Liam Edwards, Sydney, Australia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; William Wyley & Lena Jane Wyatt Futrell; Wife; JoAnn Futrell; Infant Son; Joseph Jerry Futrell; 3 brothers; Thomas Futrell, Eugene Futrell, Jesse Lonzo Futrell; sister; Annie Mae Futrell Hutchison Weaver.

He was a Retired Seaman/Sailor for the US Merchant Marines and after retirement he was a Bus Driver for Trigg County Schools; a Bee Keeper, farmer, lifelong republican and election officer for 15 years. He was a member of the Cadiz Church of Christ.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bristoe Lancaster Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Friday at King’s Funeral Home.
