Lula Mae Holley, age 97 of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Marshall County, KY

BENTON, Ky. - Lula Mae Holley, age 97 of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Marshall County, KY passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at 1:30 AM at Brookwood Retirement Community in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Born Wednesday, January 5, 1916 in Marshall Co., KY, she was retired from the Marshall County school system where she worked in food services and was also a Custodian. She was also a homemaker and was a member of Briensburg Church of Christ.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Helen Holley of Cincinnati, OH., two granddaughters, Sherre Holley of Cincinnati, OH., Cathy Holley, husband Andy Seeger of Cincinnati. OH., two great-grandchildren, Hayden Seeger and Sydney Seeger both of Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by several nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Clifford Penney and her mother, Marih (Morrison) Penney, her husband, J. Herman Holley, her son, William Harold Holley and one brother, James Penney.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:30 AM at the Fairdealing Cemetery, Benton, KY., with Gary Knuckles officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Fairdealing Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Friends may visit with the family after 9:00 AM on Friday, March 8, 2013, until 11:00 a.m. at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
