Cletus William McDougal, age 91, of Benton, KY

BENTON, Ky. - Cletus William McDougal, age 91, of Benton, KY, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Southgate Health Care in Metropolis, IL. He was a US Army Veteran serving during WWII. He was a member of Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church, American Legion and a KY Colonel.

He was the son of the late Earl and the late Jewel Barnwell McDougal

He is also survived by his wife: Dorothy McDougal of Benton, KY; Four Daughters: Suzette Story, Possum Trott, KY, Vickie Vied, Symsonia, KY, Patricia Travis, Benton, KY, Joy Park, Sharpe, KY; Two Sons: David McDougal, Almo, KY, Gary Dean McDougal, Possum Trott, KY; Three Step-daughters: Diana Hill, Lowes, KY, Janice thurston, Reidland, KY, Peggy Pence, Chilichote, OH; One Step-son: Roy Gene Downs, Possum Trott, KY; One Sister: Molly Alice Sanders, CA; One Brother: Dwayne McDougal, Michigan City, IN; 30 Grandchildren; 43 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by step-daughter: Cathy Gray; Step-son: Jerry Downs; five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 6, 2013, Rev. Kenneth Puckett and rev. Brad White officiating. Interment will be at Wilson Cemetery, Benton, KY. Friends may visit with the family between hours of 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturday at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY.
