EDDYVILLE, Ky. - Tom Strack Sr., 73, of Kuttawa, passed away at 9:19 A.M., Friday, April 5, 2013 in Baptist Health of Paducah.
Mr. Strack had been a carpenter for 48 years, locally being an employee for A & K Construction in Paducah and also Vanguard Construction in Paducah. He was former owner of Country Village Flea Market in Suwanee for a number of years. Mr. Strack was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janice Duff Strack; two sons, Tom Strack Jr and his wife, Lisa of Eddyville and Greg Strack and his wife, Michelle of Benton; one daughter, Laura Hayden and her husband, Chuck of Hickory; seven grandchildren, Lacey, Ashley, Raeann, Brittany, Cole, Brittney, and Evan; four great-grandchildren, Lucas, Braden, Addisen, and Brilee; five sisters, Susie Herhold and her husband, Allen of Tucson, AZ, Kay Strack of Highland, IL, Mary Revenburgh and her husband, John, of Highland, IL, June Retzer
and her husband, Don of Wood River, IL, Tina Akers and her husband, Mark of Lexington, SC; four brothers, Bob Strack and his wife, Joann of Peoria, IL, Paul Strack of Fieldon, IL, David Strack and his wife, Jeanette of Wood River, IL, Clemens Strack Jr and his wife, Paula of Wood River, IL; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald, Roger, Dick and Joe Strack. His parents were Clemens Philip Strack Sr. and
Otillia Marie Rogers Strack.
Services are scheduled for 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Lyon County.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, April 8, 2013 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville.
