John J. Reardon, Jr., age 87, of Cadiz, KY

CADIZ, Ky. - John J. Reardon, Jr., age 87, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013, at Rivers Bend Rehab & Nursing Center in Lyon Co., KY. Mr. John J. Reardon, Jr. was a member of Wallonia Baptist Church. He was a US Navy WWII veteran. He retired from civil service and was a member of VFW Post 8083 and American Legion #284 in Belleview, FL.

He is survived by Stepsons & Daughter In Law Charles & Nancy Fink & Edward C. & Jeannette Fink, Cadiz, KY, Paul D. Fink, Nashville, TN & Michael D. Fink, Brownsville, MD, Foster Daughter Jacqueline Short, Hopewell, VA, 9 Grandchildren & 11 Great Grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his Parents John Joseph & Esther Anderson Reardon, Sr., Wife Lois Marie Reardon. 1st wife Frances Reardon, Sisters Leonette Derner & Bernadine Peterson.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM Friday, April 12, 2013. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Friday, April 12, 2013 with the Reverend Bill Bursztynski officiating. Burial will follow at KY Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY, with full military honors.

Memorial Contributions can be made to Pennyroyal Veteran's Center 506 Boales Street, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
