Herman (Buck) Anderson, age 87, of Cadiz, KY

CADIZ, Ky. - Herman (Buck) Anderson, age 87, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at his residence following a short illness. Mr. Herman "Buck" Anderson was a member of Needville Community Church in Needville, TX. He was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII. He was the former owner and operator of Anderson's Market for 35 years. Mr. Anderson was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Rosenberg Masonic Lodge No. 881 F. & A.M. in Rosenberg, TX, also he was a member of the Moslem Shrine Temple of the Valley of Detroit.

He is survived by his Son & Daughter In Law David & Donna Anderson, Houston, TX, Daughter Linda Davis, Cadiz, KY, Grandchildren Alena Anderson & Douglas Davis, Great Grandchildren Zachary Welle, Benjamin Welle & Grace Davis. He was preceded in death by his Parents Roland & Dixie Webb Anderson, Wife Hazel James Anderson, Granddaughter Tracy Davis-Welle, Brothers Homer Anderson, John Anderson & Hobart Anderson, Sisters Nola Hurley, Roma Hurley & Ruby Stone.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Friday, May 3, 2013 with Masonic Rites being held at 6:00 PM. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 4, 2013 with the Reverend Gene Oller officiating.

Burial will follow at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz, KY. Memorial Contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Dannye Wagner, 218 Canton Lakeshore Drive, Cadiz, KY 42211.
