Eddie Jones, 66, of Cadiz, KY

CADIZ, Ky. – Eddie Jones, 66, of Cadiz, KY passed away on Friday morning at his residence following a long illness.

He was born in Harrisburg, PA on January 29, 1947 to the late Albert Lee and Helen Jamison Jones.

Eddie was a Retired Flight Engineer for the Tennessee Air National Guard. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and the Tennessee Air National Guard; a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Rockcastle United Methodist Church and served on the Board for the Trigg Lyon Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert LeRoy Jones and a sister, Wanda Skinner.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sheila Jones, Cadiz, KY; a son, Paul Edward (Amanda Rae) Jones, Madisonville, KY; two brothers, Ron (Debbie) Jones, West Palm Beach, FL, David and Kathy Jones, Clarksville, IN; a sister, Dausie (Billy) Parrish, Nebo, KY; and two Grandchildren; Kohl Ryan Jones and Jonathan Paul Jones, Madisonville, KY.

Funeral services for 66 year old Eddie Jones of Cadiz will be Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home with Rev. James Shuck & Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with military rites.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at King’s Funeral Home.
