Allen N. Grimes, 89, of Dycusburg

EDDYVILLE, Ky. - Allen N. Grimes, 89, of Dycusburg, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013, in Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

Mr. Grimes was a former mechanic for Crittenden Motors in Marion, KY and also for Sigler Ford in Princeton where he retired. He attended Dycusburg United Methodist Church.

Mr. Grimes is survived by three sons; Tim Grimes and Joe Grimes, both of Marion, Steve Grimes and his wife, Sally, of Dawson Springs; one daughter, Gail Lindsey of Paducah; five grandchildren: Melinda Grimes, Stephen (Kelly) Grimes, Roger Dale Lindsey, John Allen (Meredith) Kinnis, Tony Kinnis. four great grandchildren: Gracie, Justin, Halie, Seth one great-great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcella Kinnis and a sister, Leona Grimes. His parents were Hulin \"Preacher\" H. Grimes and Mary Frances Hodge Grimes.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 20, 2013 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with Rev. Lonnie Knight officiating. Burial will be in Dycusburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville.
