Jo Ann Blackburn, 71, of Princeton, KY

2cloudsPRINCETON, Ky. – Mrs. Jo Ann Blackburn, 71, of Princeton, KY, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at her home following a long illness. She was a factory worker and attended Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Fredonia.

She is survived by her husband, James E. Blackburn of Princeton; two sons, James Eugene Blackburn and wife, Michelle of MO and Royce Blackburn of MO; two daughters, Debra Ann Croft and husband, Bobby of Princeton, Dawnese Ward of Springfield MO; ten grandchildren, Shanna Sherrill and husband, Danny, Brent Blackburn, Ashley Blackburn, Miranda Blackburn, Chris, Brandon, Alex Blackburn, Alise Deines, Lindsey Finch, Lauren Ward; nine great grandchildren, Cole and Emily Sherrill, Tadleigh Finch, Christian Deines, Cameron Blackburn, Colburn, Leon Ward, Chris Jolene Blackburn, Owen Blackburn; three sisters, Mildred Cooper of Princeton, Linda Porter of Princeton, Virginia Craft of Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Edward Patterson and Percy Francis Patterson; three brothers, William, James and Thomas Patterson; and two sisters, Pat Sewell and Shelby Lubben.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Sherrill officiating and burial to follow Rock Spring Church Cemetery.
