James D. Adams, 71 of Cadiz, Ky

baue eagleCADIZ, Ky. - James D. Adams, 71 of Cadiz, Ky passed away on Thursday evening at his home following a long illness.

He was born in Hopkins Co., KY on March 9, 1942 to the late George “Coke” & Ruby Gault Adams. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Bobby & Darrell Adams and one sister; Betty Miller.

He was a Retired Coal Miner and a member of the South Union Baptist Church.

Survivors: Wife of 31 years: Alvie Sue Adams, Cadiz, KY; Sons & Daughters-In-Law: Maurice Allen Walker & wife, Theresa, Cadiz, KY; Christopher Michael Ray Walker & wife, Amy, Slaughters, KY; Daughter: Mary Denise Adams Hopson, Cadiz, KY; Brothers & Sisters-In-Law: William “Bill” & Virginia Adams, Morganfield, KY; Don & Shirley Adams, Providence, KY; Richard & Debbie Adams, Ashland, OH; 5 Grandchildren: Jessica Ann Walker, Kuttawa, KY; Sean Michael Cooper, Hopkinsville, KY; Kelsey Lee Walker, Evansville, IN; Matthew Allen Wagner, Cadiz, KY; Sean Brogan Walker, Slaughters, KY; 1 Great Grandchild: Sebastian Xavier Howell, Evansville, IN.

Memorial Services for 71 year old James D. Adams, of Cadiz, will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday at King’s Funeral Home.

Memorial Donations may be made to South Union Baptist Church Building Fund 2300 Lock E. Road Cadiz, Ky 42211
