Jeanette (Jeni) Mills, age 71, of Cadiz, KY

2flowerCADIZ, Ky. - Jeanette (Jeni) Mills, age 71, of Cadiz, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Princeton Health and Rehab Center in Princeton, KY. Mrs. Jeanette "Jeni" Mills was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. She retired as a medical insurance claims examiner for Travelers Insurance Co. She was a member of Homemakers Club, Quilters Guild and Trigg Co. Republican Women.

She is survived by her Husband Bob Mills, Cadiz, KY, Son & Daughter In Law Mike & Cheryl Shoemaker, Phoenix, AZ, Daughters & Sons In Law Angie & Joel LaPlante, Edmond, OK, Victoria & Darren Boyd, San Diego, CA, Brothers David Pitts, Coffeeville, KS, Charles Pitts, Coffeeville, KS, Sister Pam McClenning, Coffeeville, KS, Grandchildren Chris LaPlante, Courtney Boyd, Kory Lynn Boyd, Brandon Boyd & Ashley Shoemaker, Great Grandchildren Jackson LaPlante, Mackenzie LaPlante, Dawson LaPlante, Carsyn Slaughter.

She was preceded in death by her Parents Harold & Pauline Maryfield Pitts, Sister Paula Harmon.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stephens Catholic Church at 9:00 AM Wednesday, August 14, 2013 with Father Joseph Babu officiating. Burial will follow at Ky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. Memorial Contributions can be made to American Cancer Society P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, Ky 42211.
