EDDYVILLE, Ky. - James E. 'Jim' Wolfe, 84, passed away Sunday, October 27, at Caldwell Medical Center, following a short illness. He was a retired Federal Mine Inspector with OSHA and a member of Kuttawa First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Gatian Wolfe, Eddyville, KY; one son, James R. Wolfe & wife Valerie, Hanson, KY; one daughter, Pamela Kay Bedrick, Ripley, TN; three grandchildren, Jason Wolfe, Emily Vannarsdall & husband Chris, and James E. Wiseman & wife, Amanda, Princeton, KY and three great grandchildren, Nicholas and Elizabeth Vannarsall and Carman Wiseman and several nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Anna Mae Scott Wolfe, one grandson, Matthew James Wolfe and two sisters, Ella Mae Hess and Jean Wratchford.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville and on Wednesday, October 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kuttawa Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Kuttawa First Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville.
