Jim Ed Lewis, age 87 of Princeton, Ky

PRINCETON, Ky. - Jim Ed Lewis, age 87 of Princeton, Ky passed away on Tuesday, October 29 at 10:27 a.m. at his home following a short illness.

He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor for General Motors, member of First Baptist Church, American Legion, Elks Club. He went to Cobb School and was a US Army, WWII Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Mitchell Lewis of Princeton, two sons, Burt Lewis and John W. Lewis both of Mount Airy, NC, three daughters, Peggy Lee Dowdy and Donna Denis Lewis both of Mount Airy, NC, Virginia Pettit of Caldwell Co., two step children, Claudia A. Eisenmann of Westchester, PA, Andrew Eisenmann of Palm Springs, CA, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one sister, Tommye Middleton of Clarksville, TN and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Powell Lewis and Bessie Bell White Lewis.

Visitation for Mr. Jim Ed Lewis will be on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 3 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Russ Davidson officiating and burial to follow in Millwood Cemetery.
