The Apple treeOWENSBORO, Ky. (3/31/14) — Back Alley Musicals’ next musical production, "The Apple Tree," will be staged Thursday, May 1, through Sunday, May 4, in the Jody Berry Theatre at Owensboro’s RiverPark Center, 101 Daviess St.

Evening shows May 1, 2 and 3 will begin 7:30 p.m. There will be a 2 p.m. matinee Sunday, May 4.

Adult tickets for reserved seating are $22 and reserved student tickets are $12. Tickets will be available by calling the BAM Box office at (270) 925-4963 beginning April 7. Seating is limited.

“The Apple Tree” is a musical comedy that explores love and relationships in three acts. The first is a quirky spin on the story of Adam and Eve, the second is a rock ‘n’ roll fable about the unsteadiness of love and the third is a Cinderella story about a woman whose career goals almost block her from falling in love.

The cast, under the co-direction of Amy Cox and Donna May, is packed with talent including David Baxter, Leigh Anne Crume, Tara Estes, Travis Estes, Austin French, Alisa Hamilton, Heather Hayden, Misty Miller, Loré North, John Thomas Priar, Jeremy Raines, Jeremy Scoggin and Michael Stone. David Roberson is the musical director assisted by Emily Malone.

The cast will be accompanied by a six piece orchestra.
