James (Bunk) Howton, age 89 of Princeton

 

obitshipPRINCETON, KY - James (Bunk) Howton, age 89 of Princeton passed away on Monday, January 2 at 9:05 AM at Princeton Health & Rehab Center following a short illness.

He was a retired carpenter, also welder for Paradise Steam Plant, member of First Baptist Church in Princeton, Eastern Star (Shady Grove) #505 and Shady Grove Masonic Lodge #559.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Sigler Howton of Princeton and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Howton was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Minnie Sullivan Howton, one son, James Ricky Howton, one daughter, Vickie Gail Howton, five brothers, Bill, Pete, Roy, Charlie and Hollis Howton and four sisters, Leffie Felker, Ella Mae Felker, Burchie Oates and Lois Hess.

Funeral services will be held on Wed, January 4, 2012 at 2:30 PM at Morgan's Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Lantrip, Mike Franklin and Rev. Kent Workman officiating and burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Caldwell Co.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday at Morgan's. Masonic Services will be held at 7 PM Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Christian Life Center 300 W Main St. Princeton KY 42445
