Harold (Buddy) Rogers, age 82 of Fredonia

 

FREDONIA, KY - Harold (Buddy) Rogers, age 82 of Fredonia, passed away Thursday January 19, at Princeton Health and Rehab following a long illness.

Mr. was a Member of First Baptist Church in Fredonia. He was a Retired Engineer Tech for the Department of Transportation for the State Highway Department. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a Charter Member of Fredonia Lions Club and a Member for 56 years of the Fredonia American Legion Post # 103. In appreciation of over 40 years of dedicated service, the Buddy Rogers Park in Fredonia, KY was named in his honor.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Justice and Blanche Beatrice Sullenger Rogers; two brothers, Keith and Gerald Rogers and one granddaughter, Jennifer Rogers.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Riley Rogers of Fredonia, KY; one son, Ken Rogers and wife Beth of Princeton, KY; one daughter, Pam Faughn and husband Steve of Fredonia, KY; three grandchildren, Jason Faughn, Jake Rogers and Josh Rogers; two brothers, Don Rogers of Murray, KY and Larry Rogers of Hendersonville, TN.

Visitation will be Friday January 20, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Morgan's Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Saturday January 21, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Dr. Jerrell White and Rev. Kyle Noffsinger offiiciating. Burial will be at Fredonia Cemetery.
