Iva M. Small, 68

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Iva M. Small, 68, wife of Bobby Small, of Lexington, KY passed away Fri. after a long illness.

She was born Sept. 12, 1944 in Nicholas County to the late Carlos and Ruby Gulley Dampier. Mrs. Small worked for Jockey International for 33 years, Home Interiors for 15 years and Sam`s Club for 8 years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and attended Southland Christian Church.

In addition to her husband of 16 years she is survived by her son, Timothy Sanders; step-son, Michael (Amy) Small; step-daughter, Cassandra (DeWain) Cundiff; grandchildren, Kristen Sanders, Alexandria Small and Mason Cundiff; two sisters, Wilma (Danny) Booth and Joyce (Lanny) Harney and one brother, Allen (Bettye) Dampier.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Sanders and her first husband, Edwin Sanders.

Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. prior to the service on Tues. at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in the Millersburg Cemetery at a later date.
