LEXINGTON, Ky. - Deaton, Carol Ann, 73, wife of David Deaton, passed away Sun, Feb 10, 2013. Born in Kenton, OH, she was the daughter of Leonard and Kathryn Lintz Goslee. A graduate of The Ohio State University, she was a registered nurse, then, later, spent 15 years working alongside her husband prior to retirement. She was an active member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Women of Southern Hills and a member of the PEO.
In addition to her husband of 47 years, she is survived by her children, Paula (Michael) Werner, Georgetown, KY, Sharon (James) McCubbins, Bowling Green, KY and Darryl (Jennifer) Deaton, Nolensville, TN; sisters, Joanne (George) Hipp, Bowling Green, OH and Jeanne (Wesley) Westervelt, Perrysburg, OH; grandchildren, Madison & Paige Werner, David & Andrew McCubbins, and Davis & Ansley Deaton.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thurs at Southern Hills United Methodist Church, conducted by Dr. Bill Moore and Rev. Clyde David Burberry. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wed at Milward-Southland.
